- Participant will be able to identify 7 products made of natural rubber latex
- Participant will understand the connection between latex allergens and latex-fruit syndrome
Michael Zacharisen, MD
Dr. Zacharisen earned his M.D. at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1988. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and fellowship training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. For 17 years, he served on the full-time faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin and was promoted to full professor. He published 35 peer-reviewed publications and 20 book chapters as well as served as Associate editor for the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
In 2012, he opened a private practice, Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana, in Bozeman, Montana. He joined the faculty of University of Colorado School of Medicine as Clinical Professor. He is board-certified in Allergy/Immunology.
